ALPINE | 26 DEC 2008 | With success in 2006, FranklinSquires began a minting project which created pure .9999 fine 1 oz and 1/2 oz. Gold Medallions (called Franklins) and pure .999 fine 1 oz. Silver Medallions (called Squires). Subsequently FranklinSquires minted a mixed metal medallion (called Producers). These medallions proved a very successful investment for the company. The 1 oz Franklins were minted for just over $400 and the 1 oz. Squires were minted for just over $7 dollars.
With such obvious success, the current downward trend of the dollar and the uncertain economic times ahead FranklinSquires President Rick Koerber recently announced that FranklinSquires intends to embark an a new minting program for 2009 1/2 oz. Franklins, 1 oz. Franklins, and 1 oz. Squires. Individuals interested in participating in this minting project or who would like to purchase 2009 Franklins and Squires are encouraged to contact the company by emailing info@franklinsquires.com.
